Wolke+R 1/100 Nu Gundam Conversion Kit

Quincent Saiorus  just created a video review for Wolke+R 1/100 Nu Gundam Conversion Kit .Conversion kits are becoming more popular nowadays as they are ahead of showcasing kits not released by Bandai. They are usually made of resin and requires MG frames of specific MG models. Most of them require painting and cleaning the detail depending on the company who made them. These conversion kits cost quite a bit as they being imported from hongkong and thailand which produces most of the resin kits available online.

Rei Ayanami Plugsuit Bust

This is one of my first projects, Hand painted the face and used spray can paint for the plugsuit. Back then I was still using Valejo paints. Bought this in Hongkong together with Asuka( Plugsuit ). Resin Quality is fair (has some molding errors). overall, the kit still looks great after a decade.

1/8 Rei Ayanami Plugsuit

Before Starting on my entry for december, i have finished a kit as warm-up for a long build, a dio. The base of this kit is made of square glass pieces which add a little fizz to the kit. Had trouble using spray cans again because of lost of familiarity. I have SB the plugsuit terminals (the white hairclip on her head) and a piece of her hair of the right side, made from Epoxy Putty. more pics below. Enjoy!!

Rei Ayanami School Uniform

This 1/8 Rei Ayanami School Uniform made from resin. its composed of 11 parts and very well cast in resin. In my initial attempts in painting resin kits, I've used water based acrylic paint from Vallejo, which in the long run doesn't last that much (very expensive too. In the Present, I'm now using Tamiya Acrylics and Enamels Because of its availability here in the Philippines. I've aquired this kit locally for around $50, ain't cheap but still worth it for my Rei Ayanami Collection.

1/8 Sakura Kinomoto Movie Version Resin kit

This is one of the kits i bought when i went to Hongkong last 2005. Made of resin casted by Garage kit collections located on Sino Center on Nathan road, Kowloon. It's price, 580$ HK. After acquiring an airbrush last year, I've finally painted and finished the kit. I've used metal rods to hold the pieces together and a brass rod to suspend the kit above the base. as a substitute for the ribbons, I've used the aluminum of the soda cans to add flexibility. Painted it with Tamiya colors and pylox for the pearl white.
