Sagat by ProtoType Z studios part 1

Got a Commission work from a client in the USA, and i was excited to hear that its a prototype Z studios' Sagat. After waiting for more than a month( sea freight )for the item to get here, Finally i got a message that it is ready for pick-up. Surprise! It came with Ryu! my client asked to do both. After Buying paint to be used in this project, finally this commission is on the move.
on this project, I'll be trying a new batch of paint brands( vallejo and Gaia notes ) as my client asked to not be cheap in paint. as an additional payment for the work, my client sent me a portable air compressor ( Vogue air, primary used in airbursh make-up ). the compressor works like a charm as i can carry it around with its battery pack and not to worry about any power outlet.
Pegged the legs first and I've used strong earth magnets for Sagat to have easy assembly when the finished kit arives back to my client. Great part of this kit is that it comes with two different heads of Sagat, One with normal face and one with a more fierce expression.
I've attached magnets in the head for it to be interchangeable. after pegging, I've binded the figure as the putty and epoxy glue hardens as it is so heavy (more than 1 kilo).
After binding for 2 days, I can finally start to paint! yeah! Started to coat it with Vallejo primer to find flaws that needed fixing.
After drying the primer and fixing, painted it with flesh tone vallejo as a base color, there I will layer other flesh tone to create more depth to the color.

PG 1/60 Wing Gundam Zero T.V. Version WIP 2

Update on PG wing Zero tv version. Fitted the HG wing zero parts to the PG frame. Most of the HG parts fits, while others need some modification. I've used the PC parts of the PG skirt to hold the HG skirt. Used the same gimmik as for the PG version.

I've extended the groin part of the HG to fit the PG frame. Added some pla plates to cover and extend.
I
I've decided just to use the Original skirt of the PG instead of the HG. HG skirt doesn't fit right in my own opinion. Just converted the PG skirt and patched up the middle portion to look close enough like the HG skirt.

WIP 4 - 1/144 OO raiser

I've added a small vent cover and hide the elbow pegs. By using MSG kotobukiya parts, Cut it in half and placed in the elbow joint using plastic cement.Added a few PC-116 Vents from kotobukiya.

I've also added panel lines in the chest area. These 1/144 kits are very tough to hold on, the smallest dymo tape barely holds on to it.
Even the smallast dymo tape can cover most of the 1/144 gundam kits
I've scribed the lines using Hobbymate's Multi Purpose Pen Scriber. After that, follow-up scribe of the chisel to add edge to the panel lines. Dymo tape and pen scriber are a tandem!

WIP 3 - 1/144 OO raiser

Decided to change the vents I've installed in the past as it was sticking out like a sore thumb. fashioned out a vent out of 1mm and .5mm pla-plates. completed adding plates to the side of the GN drive.

then decided increase the width of the feet by adding 1mm pla-plates around the foot. My plan is somehow increase the size of the feet and legs to compensate for the size of the xn- raiser.

WIP 2 - 1/144 OO raiser

I've just took a break from my PG build. It's been almost two years since I've work with this kit, it needs more attention. I've added pla plates on the GN drive shoulders and a vent, but having second thoughts on keeping it. On the Legs, I've scribed panel lines on the knees. I've added 1.5mm thickness on the foot to make it more flat footed.

PG 1/60 Wing Gundam Zero T.V. Version WIP

Since I've built the MG Wing Gundam Zero T.V. version for a client, I'll be building one for my own colllection, but this time its a Perfect Grade. I'll be using a 1/60 HG Wing Gundam Zero T.V. Version and a PG wing Gundam Zero given to me by Toymaker .

I've collected Gundam kits since 1996, and almost completed the whole Gundam Wing model kit lineup. I've been an avid fan of XXXG-00W0 or Wing Zero and for my childhood dreams, I want to convert the 1/60 wing gundam zero with the frame of PG Wing Gundam zero EW.

By size comparison , there should be less problems fitting them to the PG frame.

Leg comparison, there should be no problem fitting them to the frame.

Finished attaching the leg parts to the frame.
L-R( finished leg, HG leg, PG leg)

WIP 3 wing, MG Wing Gundam Zero T.V.

Snap fitted most of the wing parts, combining the MG back connector with the HG wing parts.

test fit, seems to high for the shoulders
After test fitting, I've decided to lower the backpack by using the one from the HG. I took the
connector and cemented it to the HG one.

After building the connection, I've decided to increase the wing by adding pla plate tips to the end of the wing.

Finishing Fit.

The Client just wanted me to put the kit together as He's the one going to paint it. Definitely there more improvements to this kit bash, needs more detail. Next time, I will definitely keep HG legs and improve it so it can fully transform to bird mode. My friend from Singapore gave me a PG wing and that will be my next project. Maybe I'll skip the MG build for later.
