MG Wing Gundam Zero T.V. Version W.I.P.

I've kitbashed two kits, a MG Wing gundam Zero EW for the MG frame, and used the outer shell of the HG 1/100 wing gundam zero T.V. version to make a MG Wing Gundam Zero T.V. Version. This my first Foreign Commissioned work and the client wants to paint it himself, he just want me to convert the kit into a MG.

Separated the moving parts of the legs using etching saw from Tamiya.removed all pegs inside the shell to fit the MG frame.

added almost 6mm of Pla Plates to the MG frame for it to fit inside the HG shell.

I've recreated the peg that holds the knee part. the original peg was too short because of the leg extension.
Now finished with the leg part, seems to be no problems with the articulation.
Next: the Torso modification.

San Mig Light Party

The MAC San Mig light party was held in Timog's Pier 1 Resto Bar. Although I've arrived late, haven't missed anything that big, but Tony was getting drunker by the bottle. We've discussed the production of the resin kit that will be created by a fellow MAC member. We also had some laughs at some issues. Although it was not an ALL NIGHTER, I would say it was great!

WIP 1/144 OO raiser

thanks everyone, as to my surprise today, the 1/144 kit has a pretty good articulation as compared to the 1/100 version. the only part that i tweaked is the waist part to add a little bend to the torso. the balance of the kit without the o raiser is great. how i wish they re-issue other 1/144 kits like God Gundam and Gundam X. now i will be concentrating on the mods on the overall look of the kit, i hope it turns out good.
will be sanding the tip to add space for flexing.

the bend before sanding..

the bend after sanding.. i think that i only added 7-12 degrees of bend.. barely noticable... errr!

one advantage of the 1/144 kits is their weight.

Redemption - 1/144 OO raiser Detailed Build

Photobucket
This will be a very daunting task as I try to polish my skills in gunpla further by from starting small.
The build will include articulation from head to feet, pla plating and panel lines from the PG version. and if posible, LED mods on the GN drives.

A Mtg player's travel to the plastic world

Being a mtg player, 6 years of experience paid off with a crown. After a year of gunpla, i thought a had a firm grasp of the art. this year Bandai modeln kit world cup taught me a very valuable lesson, time is gold. If I had more time, this kit would have been better, maybe had the potential to be the best. As a MTG player, practice does make perfect, as i played the 2007 national championship without losing a single match in the Constructed format. same thing can be said in gunpla, every aspect should be perfect, from planning to execution. I feel that I still need to polish my execution skills, as i failed to seal my kit, causing mass orange peel on the top coat. if not for the topcoat mishap, I would have added a better color scheme and camo. As ponder on the past events, I developed a year's worth of wisdom. hopefully I will improve my skills further, as i search for the crown. My this is the time to dream big, as i did on MTG, traveling the 6 year road, which others dream for a lifetime.
Those are the days I used as inspiration for gunpla, That anyone who is determined and well equiped to win, can win it all.
